Take a moment to yourself

Feeling stressed? Need to clear negative situations? Are your emotions getting the better of you? Need some anxiety management tips? 

If you have answered yes to any of the above, then I may be able to teach you a technique that may just give you a moment's peace from it all. It's called the essential oil prayer.


Take your favourite essential oil and place a drop or 2 in your hands, join your hands together, so that you warm the essential oil in the palms of your hands. Cup your hands over your nose and take 3 deep breaths. These breaths should be slow and deep. Feel the essential oil fill your lungs, body and being. Then take your hands around the outside of your body, as if you were feeling an outer layer of your body, that you can't see. End the moment with placing your hands over your heart centre and breathing for another couple of breaths. Close you eyes and just be still for a moment of peace. 


I use Frankincense essential oil as it helps to ground, clear negativity, and it creates a chemical reaction in the brain that allows me to think clearly and has a calming effect above all other oils. This is my personal oil of choice to do this moment of peace, but you can also choose to find one that resonates with your mind, body and soul.

It's also good to step away from situations, do this technique and let your breath, with the essential oil, cleanse and revive you. I'm not saying it's going to heal every situation, but it will help you to gain a different perspective and just allow you to feel and be you, whilst clearing the mind, within this moment.
